This hike will take you to one of the nicest spots on the Wild & Scenic Chattooga River!
We'll hike through the winter woods, which should afford views of the river, down to Raven Rock. This is a particularly scenic spot on the Chattooga River, with a sheer rock wall across the bend in the river and rapids up- and down-stream. This past Spring there were ravens tending their nest on a ledge in the rock. The hike will take about 3 hours, with time to relax and explore at the river.
