Join Giff Beaton, author of "Dragonflies and Damselflies of Georgia and the Southeast" for an early morning outing. This is a very special opportunity for Children and Adults to identify and learn about Georgia's dragonflies and damselflies.

Outing Location:
Johnson Ferry South Unit of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. We will be walking through some high grass; so long pants and sturdy footwear are recommended.
Time:
About 2 and 1/2 hours.
Limit:
15Bring: Camera, snack, water, rain gear (Allergic to bees/wasps? Remember your meds/epi-pen).
Important Note:
In addition to the dragonflies and damselflies, there will be other insects at the outing site. We ask that you please refrain from using bug spray if you intend on handling any of the insects.
Cancellation: Hikers will be notified if hike is canceled due to forecast of severe weather, etc.
Pet Policy: Thank you for not bringing your pet friends on Georgia ForestWatch outing.
Family Safe Policy: Georgia ForestWatch Outings are a smoke, alcohol, and drug free setting.
